You’re invited to join KAB as we celebrate the hard work of Green Teens and pick up a few environmental pointers as students teach back what they learned this semester.

Celebrate Green Teens’ achievements and ongoing environmental efforts
KAB partners with schools and after-school organizations to lead weekly environmental education activities to engage low-income youth in environmental stewardship. During the spring semester Green Teens at Kealing, and Bedichek Middle School designed and built model solar cars while learning about alternative energy and reuse of materials. High school students from LBJ, Eastside, and Reagan have been learning about native plants, organic gardening methods, water quality and much more while installing and maintaining native and vegetable garden beds.
