Clean Lady Bird Lake – Summer Fun

As temperatures rise, Austinites migrate to what many consider to be the coolest and most beautiful places in Austin, our lakes and swimming holes.  Give in to the urge and come spend time at the lake while making a difference. 

Join hundreds of volunteers for a rewarding morning searching high and low for every last bit of trash and getting to know other lake enthusiasts.   We’re looking for volunteers to clean from the shoreline, from donated kayaks/canoes/paddleboards, and to bring their own boats to help clean from the water.  Each cleanup will end with a prize for the most unusual object found during the cleanup.

Volunteers MUST pre-register for this event, use the registration link below.   On-the-water volunteers should know how to swim, be comfortable around water, and on-the-water volunteers 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian and wear a personal flotation device.
