Canoeing/Kayaking Cleanup

Join the Sierra Club and Austin Paddle Club in an effort to keep Lady Bird Lake free of debris!  Don’t own a boat?  No problem!  TG Canoes and Kayaks will provide one at no cost to cleanup participants.  TG Canoes and Kayaks needs to know how many boats to provide so please register by May 8th, 2009.  Led by Philip Russell & Phyllis Gruver.  Volunteers may go out to eat after the cleanup at a local restaurant.

 

Date: Saturday, May 16th     

Time:  9am-12:30pm

Location:  north shore of Lady Bird Lake at the Holiday Inn boat launch near I-35 (Central Austin – 78701)

Register:  CLICK HERE (All donated canoe spots have been filled for this date.  Volunteers with their own boats are still welcome to register for this date.  You can also register online for the June 20th cleanup which still has donated boat space available.)
