Lady Bird Lake Property PartnersLady Bird Lake Property Owners’ Partnership
Many businesses own or lease property along Lady Bird Lake’s shoreline and get to enjoy sunsets over the water, wildlife like bats and turtles, and watching Austinites out on the water enjoying our special kind of city living. However, they also have to manage lots of trash that flows onto their property from various sources. The Property Owner’s Partnership was created to bring these businesses together and recognize them for their commitment to protecting our lake. These Property Partners sign a one year agreement, with the option to renew, stating that they will make shoreline cleanups part of their regular grounds maintenance plan. In exchange, KAB works with these groups to provide cleanup supplies, arrange collection of full bags, and recognize their efforts through our website and a certificate. Property Partners Groups preserve and improve their adoption portion of shoreline by: · “adopting” the portion of shoreline in front of their business · making regular shoreline cleanups a part of their grounds’ maintenance plan KAB Support As a Property Partner you will receive: · an adoption certificate to display · recognition on Keep Austin Beautiful’s website · access to KAB cleanup support including cleanup supplies and assistance with coordinating disposal of full trash bags · gardening tools and technical assistance for restoration projects The partners listed below have committed to incorporating shoreline cleanups into their regular grounds maintenance plan and working with KAB to keep the lake clean throughout the year.
