KAB provides the following services to schools to promote campus recycling.

Bring Recycling into the Classroom
KAB leads hands-on activities on litter, recycling, and landfills. KAB also provides cardboard recycling bins and ongoing support to assist schools in the initiation and completion of a campus recycling project. Plastic Recycling Challenge

Kick off Earth Day with Plastic Recycling at Your School! The two schools that collect the most plastic bottles win $100 to continue their campus recycling efforts.

Design-a-Bag Art Contest
All youth in the Greater Austin Area (schools, troops, individuals) in grades K-12 are invited to participate in the decorate a canvas bag art contest to promote the use of reusable bags.

Plastic Bag Recycling
Begin a Plastic Bag Recycling Campaign at your School to increase plastic recycling and receive  recognition on the KAB website.

Event Recycling Bins available for Checkout
KAB loans event recycling bins (wire-frame) for special events at schools including festivals, fairs, parent nights, and track and field days.  

Longhorn Recycle Roundup - There Might Be $500 Lurking In Your School's Recycling Bin!
This fall, 5 schools from across the Greater Austin area will be recognized for their campus greening efforts. Winning schools receive cash prizes, a commemorative plaque and recognition at a UT football game! 

Stash Your Trash – Teacher Resource Kits   
Do you want your kids or students to learn more about recycling and reducing waste? KAB is giving away 100 recycling kits to local teachers for use in their classrooms. Kits include a local resource guide, samples of re-processed materials, posters, a compost reference wheel, and more!
