KAB’s Adopt-a-Street program gives local groups the opportunity to help keep Austin beautiful by collecting litter and beautifying streets in the community. 

WHY ADOPT-A-STREET?

• It's an easy way for groups to help the community
  
• It makes a visible impact on the local environment
  
• It helps build community and group pride
  
• It reduces litter cleanup costs and saves taxpayers money

HOW DO I ADOPT-A-STREET?

 1. Fill out the Adopt-a-Street Application*

      Don't Forget:

• Groups must adopt at least 1/2 a mile within the City of Austin for 2 years
• Groups must have at least 4 cleanups per year
• Groups are responsible for $152 to pay for the Adopt-a-Street sign
• KAB will work with the City of Austin to have the new sign installed
• KAB will provide groups with free cleanup supplies and safety guidelines

PLEASE NOTE: There are NO new streets available near the UT campus

2. Send KAB your Application via e-mail or fax it to 512.391.0624

3. Your Adopt-a-Street Application will be reviewed and you will be e-mailed an Adopt-a-Street Agreement. ALL adoptions will offically begin and end in June.
