El Jardin Alegre Community Garden Workday  01/19/2008 Every third Saturday of the month El Jardin Alegre gardeners and volunteers get together to improve and beautify the garden. One project currently in the work is their new tool shed built partly out of recycled materials. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd Cleanup, hosted by State Representative Dawnna Dukes 01/19/2008State Representative Dawnna Dukes is hosting the 8th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd Clean Up, coming up on Saturday, January 19.  Volunteers will meet at JJ Seabrook Park to get supplies and snacks and will then set off to clean MLK Blvd.  MLK Clean Up is an excellent opportunity to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy of service by beautifying the street bearing his name.  This event is held in conjunction with United Way's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.  Date: Saturday, January 19th, 2008Time:  11am-1pmLocation:  J.J.
