Come out and join volunteers as they concentrate on removing ligustrum. As the park greens up, ligustrum becomes less conspicuous so this will probably be the last time for several months that it will be easy to find.Volunteers did a super job on removing the giant cane (Arundo donax) in February, but removing standing material was just the first step. All the new shoots will also need to be cut. Hope you can join in the fun! Volunteers will meet at the paved parking lot at 9am. Volunteers may be working far from the parking lot, so plan to return there only at the end of the work period. Date: Saturday, March 13 Time: 9am-12pmLocation: 5304 Old Spicewood Springs Rd, 78731. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot Contact: George Innis at 340-9932 or gsnsj@sbcglobal.net
