West Bouldin Creek Greenbelt Cleanup and Invasive Species Removal3/20/2010 POSTPONED until 3/27/10 due to weatherPlease join volunteers and help restore the natural health and vitality of the greenbelt.  Volunteers will meet the third Saturday of every month through May of 2010.  Coffee in the morning and refreshment at the end of the work session will be provided. Keep Austin Beautiful will loan volunteers some tools, but if you have handsaws, shovels or rakes, please bring those. Organizers also recommend wearing boots, long pants, long- sleeved shirt and gloves as protection against poison ivy. Downtown Austin Farmers’ Market – Zero Waste InitiativeEvery Saturday and Wednesday Like landfills? If that’s a big no, come be a part of a momentous zero-waste project at two fun-filled Austin Farmers’ Market (AFM) locations. Help assist customers with recycling, compost, and landfill material and help the market achieve its zero-waste goal!
