KAB INTERNSHIPS

KAB has internships available for the Fall, Spring and Summer Terms.  KAB is currently accepting applications for the Fall Term Internships listed below. Internships are unpaid but are available for academic credit.

Graphic Design Intern (Not Available at this time)

KAB is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to assist with our communications and brand development. The intern will work on producing high-quality print and electronic marketing materials to reflect the distinct image of KAB. Materials include advertisements, fliers, and logo development for our upcoming Clean Sweep event. The intern will have the opportunity to build his/her portfolio while developing as a designer.

Qualifications
The intern should be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop on Mac and PC Platforms and have knowledge of photo-editing.  The ideal candidate will be an Advertising student with a current graphic design portfolio that they would like to develop further.

Special Events Intern

An intern for KAB’s special events including the Annual Awards Luncheon will be involved in managing various logistics of the event based on their personal skills and talents. The main goal of the internship will be to help plan and coordinate KAB’s Annual Awards Luncheon with flare, focus & creativity.

Specific activities may include:
• Implementation of event logistics (creating an event program, creating an event presentation, ordering invitations, determining awards, etc.)
• Marketing and public relations
• Writing (e.g., updating the website, press releases, silent auction solicitations)
• Creating silent auction packages
• Data management/registration
