NBG 2006 38.5 StreetNeighbors of 38 ½ Street 2006 Neighborhood Grant Recipient Neighbors from 38 ½ Street, east of IH-35, worked together to beautify the gateway into their neighborhood by requesting soil rather than concrete traffic calming islands. Volunteers turned these practical installments into “planting islands” by filling them with plants and mosaic sculptures created by volunteers.
