NBG 2007 FLWRFriends and Lovers of Willowbrook Reach (FLWR) 2007 Neighborhood Beautification Grant Recipient FLWR is a group of residents in the Cherrywood Neighborhood on the Eastside of Austin, Texas, dedicated to fostering Willowbrook Reach, one of the few publicly-accessible wild spaces remaining on Boggy Creek. Willowbrook Reach is a natural gem nestled within Austin's growing urban core. Grant funds were used transform an unsightly corner from a jungle of Johnson grass into a native butterfly garden accented by a crushed granite pathway. Click here to read their blog.
