Create a Park

02/23/2008

The Northfield neighborhood has been given the right to create a park-like space for kids on a lot that belongs to the City.  This will be the neighborhood's first real public open space. Until now parents had to drive or cross busy streets to reach a place where their kids could play. The neighborhood’s very excited for this great and much-needed addition to the neighborhood. The site cleanup on 2/23/08 will be the first very important step in making this pocket park a reality! Please come out to support this worthwhile effort.
