Let's Can It - Partnership with the City of Austin

KAB is teaming up with the City of Austin Watershed Protection, Austin Resource Recovery, Austin Parks & Recreation and The Trail Foundation to educate and inspire Austinites to do their part in preventing litter. Did you know that litter is the largest and most visible urban creek pollutant? That's because each time it rains, the rainwater washes pollutants downhill to the lowest point in the area - the creek or the lake. "Let's Can It!" provides information on how trash travels, how long litter lasts, and lots of other great information on resources here in Austin and opportunities for you to get involved. Do your part and put litter in its place before it ends up downstream and in our beautiful waterways!
