Plant Rescue
02/21/2008

The pond at the nature center is getting a new liner and there are lots of plants that need to be relocated to other sites. Plants will be stored at the Austin Biodiversity Greenhouse for future spring plantings. Some plants will go to the Zilker Botanical Gardens and others will be transplanted on the nature center grounds and used to restore the nature preserves. This rescue will earn the city 5 points towards National Wildlife Federation's Community Wildlife Habitat certification!  Please register by Wednesday, February 20th.
