04/08/2009 - 09:00 04/08/2009 - 11:00 Etc/GMT-6 Keep Austin Beautiful and the City of Austin Watershed Protection and Development Review are partnering with Becker Green Classroom to spruce up the gardens at the Green Classroom. This initiative is part of the nationwide Green Apple Festival to promote Earth Day projects. Come dig in to these beautiful kid-friendly gardens to get them ready for spring! Projects include: prepping and planting, working in the perennial beds to remove invasive trees, cutting back dead winter growth, and weeding beds. ALL volunteers will be invited to Celebrate with Free "Thank You" Concerts on April 19th. Date: Friday, April 17th Time: 9am-11am Location: Green Classroom, 906 W.
