Windsor Park Community Garden

This coming Earth Day weekend, Windsor Park Community Garden will be working on building ferro-cement raised beds for gardening and setting posts and building frames for a fence that will be filled in with recycled materials.

Volunteers are welcome and if you would like a goodie bag and free tickets to an appreciation concert at Antones, you can sign up with the Green Apple Festival

Bring a (labeled) drill if you have one, work gloves and a water bottle.  Water and snacks will be provided.

Date:         Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th

Time:        Saturday from 8:00am -12:00pm and/or 1:00pm – 5:00pm

                  Sunday from 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Location: The Windsor Park Community Garden is located between 51st and 290 E about a mile east of I35.  It's behind the Austin Mennonite Church at 5801 Westminster.  You can park in the library parking lot or at the shopping center across the street.
