01/13/2008 - 13:30 01/13/2008 - 15:30 Etc/GMT-6 Windsor Park Community Garden Workday Help support community gardening in Austin, learn local gardening techniques and meet some really neat folks by participating in garden workdays! Windsor Park Gardeners need help this Sunday spreading compost on beds to get ready for spring planting, pulling weeds and grass from around the trees, and pruning the blackberries. Gardeners & volunteers will also be putting a deep layer of mulch (using bags of leaves) and "rock smiles" (little rock wall to slow down water run-off) on the low side. Wear work clothes and bring a water bottle!
