Eradication Day at the LBJ Wildflower Center 12/16/09 The LBJ Wildflower Center has recently discovered Ligustrum lucidum along the natural areas (outside the gardens). Volunteers are welcome to join the eradication party! Luckily it was found in time, and can probably be wiped out in one or two tries. This is definitely an instant gratification project. If you can make it, please RSVP, so staff can permit entry through the gate. Another incentive; volunteers are welcome to wander the gardens and grounds for free once the work is over!
