Green Team: Austin Marathon & Half Marathon

The Austin Marathon needs your help to keep this marathon the greenest race in North America! The Austin Marathon’s Green Team Environmental Ambassador volunteers help make this a great community event by collecting and separating recyclable items used by runners and participants. Green Team volunteers will get 2010 event t-shirts, refreshments and a big THANK YOU from the marathon staff and runners! Green Team shifts are available February 12-14, 2009. Time:  various shift times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Location:  Friday and Saturday at the Palmer Events Center on Barton Springs Road; Sunday in downtown Austin at Congress and 7th St

Parking:  Friday and Saturday parking available at the Events Center, Sunday street parking is available
