West Bouldin Creek Greenbelt Cleanup and Invasive Species Removal

Please join volunteers and help restore the natural health and vitality of the greenbelt.  Volunteers will meet the third Saturday of every month through May of 2010.  Coffee in the morning and refreshment at the end of the work session will be provided. Keep Austin Beautiful will loan volunteers some tools, but if you have handsaws, shovels or rakes, please bring those. Organizers also recommend wearing boots, long pants, long- sleeved shirt and gloves as protection against poison ivy.

Time: 8:30am – 1:00pm

Location: South 6th Street entrance to the greenbelt. (Central Austin – 78704)  Please meet at the park entrance in the 1200 block of South Sixth St.   Note: if you see taverns & bars you are on the wrong Sixth Street.
