Gardening for Wildlife Workshop

This fun, introductory workshop on Gardening for Wildlife is being offered by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Those new to this type of gardening will learn how to make breathtaking butterflies and birds feel right at home in their backyards. Topics include Essentials of Wildlife Habitat, Central Texas Ecoregions, Attracting Hummingbirds and Butterflies and an Introduction to Invasive Plants. Participants will also explore the grounds of the Nature and Science Center in search of interesting habitats and wildlife.
