02/20/2010 - 10:30 02/20/2010 - 15:00 Etc/GMT-6 Uplift Austin CommUnity Volunteer Days 2/20/2010 Uplift Austin has two CommUnity Volunteer Days coming up at KIPP Austin Collegiate - please come help the students implement the landscaping project they designed to improve their campus! Type of labor: Gardening/landscaping Suitable for: Anyone! No special degrees or skills required. Seeking folks who enjoy digging, planting, and other forms of gardening-related physical labor. (Children under age 13 must have an adult guardian present.) Materials: If you have your own gardening gloves or tools, please feel free to bring 'em! (If you don't, no worries!) Water and light snacks will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to come either or both days, in any time frame that suits your schedule! Date: Sat.
