Removal of Invasives at Pease District Park 2/13/10 The focus will be in battling the Waxleaf Ligustrum (Japanese Privet) and Chinaberry which is choking out the native flora of the park, especially in that area along the creek just upstream from the courts. There is plenty of Ligustrum to go around, so rest assured that everyone will have ample exercise in the battle! Date: Saturday, Feb. 13th Time: 10am-2pm Location: meet at the sand volleyball courts at 10am. This location is right by the intersection of Lamar and MLK. You can park across Lamar on Old W 19th St. or in the lot of the office building at that corner (Old W 19th & Lamar).
