Mt. Bonnell Clean-Up

Calling all climbers!  If you missed all the fun we had cleaning the cliff by the 360 bridge, you have another chance to rap off a cliff not usually open to climbers. On Feb 27 Central Texas Mountaineers and Keep Austin Beautiful will be cleaning the trash below the lookout point on Mount Bonnell. Come combine your love of hanging from a rope with a good deed. Anyone experienced at setting natural anchors can come at 8:00am to set up and be the first on a rope. Everyone else, be there at 9:00am. If the clean up runs like the others, volunteers will be done by 11:00am, so get there early!  The meeting point is at the top of stairs at the overlook.
