Recycling Challenge

The Art City Austin 2010 Green Team is seeking two more recycling teams to participate in this year's recycling event!  Art City 2010 is April 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday), with booths and vendors located along Cesar Chavez Street adjacent to Town Lake, approximately between Congress Avenue and Lamar.  

The goal of the competition is to collect the most recyclables, thus keeping Art City a very green event.  Four teams of individual non-profit volunteers will compete to collect recyclables such as bottles and cans, with prize money awarded to the teams collecting the most recyclables.  The Volunteer Objectives attached give an idea of what is expected of the recycling teams.

Please contact the Green Team Co-Chairs listed below as soon as possible if you are interested in participating in this year's great event!  You will gain exposure for your group, while keeping a great Austin event as green as possible.  We are available to meet to discuss any questions you may have.
