2005 HIGHLIGHTS

CyberTrader’s Login Volunteer Time
On Wednesday, May 25th, employees from CyberTrader (a Charles Schwab company) logged in 5 incredible hours of service at the Austin Museum of Art’s Laguna Gloria. Showing their commitment to their community’s environment, CyberTrader, AMOA, and KAB employees worked together to upkeep and enhance the natural beauty of Laguna Gloria’s historic grounds by removing invasive plants, hauling away fallen limbs, spreading mulch and even painting the Temple of Love!

Griffin School Service Day Promotes Stewardship
On Friday, May 13th there was no spooking only stewardship along the woody Turkey Creek Trail at Emma Long Park when 60 Griffin School students and teachers trekked out for a morning of work. While the birds chirped and creek flowed students lined the trail with rocks and limbs, mulched a gathering area, picked up litter, and built up a rock bridge to cross the creek.
